I am an academic and budding fantasy writer.
I was born in Canberra in 1970. My earliest memory is of being very young.
Later, I moved to Adelaide, and studied English, History and Classics at The University (of Adelaide), culminating in a PhD on medieval travel writing and cartography.
Since then, the University of South Australia has taught me my sustainability studies, and paid me for it, too. I have a wide variety of academic publications on sustainability, education and business ethics.
I have lived in Australia, the UK, The Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and now Australia again (2013+).
The Mirror of Seasons quartet is my main fantasy output. I also have the Blue Men, Green Women series of stories on Gaelic folklore, many of which have been published by Bewildering Stories magazine.
